Disabled Sailing Association of British Columbia – DSA BC began with Expo ’86, when British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher donated a British designed Sunbird to Rick Hansen in honor of his ‘Man in Motion’ tour. In 1989, Rick Hansen presented the boat to Sam Sullivan who has been responsible for developing the program and raising funds and awareness. DSABC has expanded to include chapters in Victoria, Kelowna and Penticton.

American Amputee Soccer Asssociation – Our Mission: 1: To promote social interactivity, self-esteem and self-confidence among adult, and especially among new and youthful amputees, through recreational and competitive amputee soccer programs. 2: To identify, develop, and train athletes to represent the United States in elite International amputee soccer competition, and in Paralympic competition when the sport achieves that status.
