A not-for-profit organization who want to Educate, Promote and Train Disabled ski racing in Southern Ontario , Canada . As members we train and compete together to promote alpine ski racing locally, provincially, nationally & internationally.

This is another excellent site about amputee mountain biking, with an emphasis on arm amputees and new technology called "The Arm". Very nice site with great photos.

The Disabled Program of Cross Country Canada (CCC), previously associated with Canadian Association for Disabled Skiing (CADS), is dedicated to promoting, through its provincial and territorial divisions, the physical and mental well being of persons with disabilities through healthy recreation and competition.

I found this link to the results page of the Arnhem Olympiad for the Disabled. If you look here under 100 Meter Breastroke and 100 Meter Butterfly, you'll find yours truly, Larry Gardner, with posted times. I searched for a long time for this link. Let me know if you find it useful.

Canadian Amputee Sports Association

The AAHA is a new disabled hockey association whose primary mission is to develop the sport of ice hockey for amputees and other amateur athletes, regardless of race, gender, physical ability, who are interested in competing locally, nationally, and internationally.  We are sanctioned by USA Hockey and Disabled Sports USA to conduct developmental camps and clinics and to advance the goal of future Paralympic participation of amputee hockey players competing upright on or with their prostheses.

If you are a golfer and have lost a limb recently, don't despair! You don't have to give up golf for this inconvenience. Contact your local Association and begin to play again.

DSA BC began with Expo '86, when British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher donated a British designed Sunbird to Rick Hansen in honor of his 'Man in Motion' tour. In 1989, Rick Hansen presented the boat to Sam Sullivan who has been responsible for developing the program and raising funds and awareness. DSABC has expanded to include chapters in Victoria, Kelowna and Penticton. 

The first annual national regatta for sailors with disabilities, named "Mobility Cup" was hosted by Vancouver in 1991. It has since grown to be a World Class Regatta for sailors across Canada and the United States and serves as a qualifying event for international competitions such as the Paralympics.
